A Case of Fibrosarcoma

Abstract
|
|
|
A Case of fibrosarcoma arising from the vastus medialis muscle of the right knee is reported. The patient, 19 years old male, was admitted with complaints of the limitation of the right knee joint motion due to the tumor masses.
The patient noticed painless swelling localized on the anterior-medial aspect of the right knee and the lower one-third portion of anterior-medial aspect of right femur above 7 months ago.
X-ray revealed non-lobulated, non-nodular, & non-bony destruction so-called "hazy density" on antero-medial aspect of the knee joint.
It was diagnosed as fibrosarcoma and was confirmed by the biopsy.
The patient was discharged without another’s complaints and now living at 3 months after the discharge.
